GDay Mate!. If you can quickly get the body buried in a bunker you should be able to finish your round and get out of there with no one the wiser. If you have no bunkers nearby, consider tying the body to your golf cart and sending it into the nearest lake. Just make sure the lake is deep enough to conceal the entire cart.

Make sure you got a comprehensive golf insurance before you play. You report the incident to the local authority giving the truth. You engage a good lawyer if needed.

After everything is over. Go to a swing doctor to correct your swing and go for fitting to make sure your equipment suits you.

Oh, as a mark of respect, don't forget to attend the funeral of that unfortunate chap and say some nice things to the grieving family.

Accidents do happen. Not that we wish it on anyone but there is a reason why they are called accident. The law of the state changes from time to time. But one thing is constant. We try to be as sensible and responsible in everything we do, putting safety of ourselves and others first.

i very much doubt that you would be charged with murder unless you mean it, to kill sumone with a golf ball is very possible indeed, i have seen it happen( not Kill) but struck on the back and was very painfull for the person and he needed hospital treatment, now just imagine if it struck his temple in his head now that would kill, i would advise you get golf insurance because if you do hit sumone they are liable to sue, but if you did kill sumone am sure it would be classed as a tragedy, accident, we all know that the chance to be struck by a ball on the course is a high possibility we know the risks at long as you stick to the Etiquette of the game there is no problem,

I don't know about killing someone, but I do have an interesting story for thought. We were members of a country club in USA and one of the holes ran next to a road with no net or buffer. My brother sliced(or hooked whichever is left) the ball and it bounced and went into this guys car window and hit him in the eye. He sued us for his $500 sunglasses (yeah right), 3 weeks of missed work (WHAT?), his doctor bill (ok), and 25,000 in pain and suffereing (total load of crap). Luckly we have a good lawyer and only paid the dr bill and $100 for glasses. But just food for thought next time you're teeing off.

i really don't think it is possible to kill someone with a golf ball unless the person was directly in front of you and they got hit in the right spot but i think that you would not be responsible because when you play a sport you are liable for yourself

Actually, australian law suggests that killing somebody with a golf ball, as long as you attempt to communicate "fore" somehow (telepathically, sign language, sephomore..), will change all bogies into par on your score. Go for!

what i would do is try to find the ball and hit my next shot. worry about the dead after your round.

but the 'burying him in a bunker' idea is quite good.

It's first degree murder if you use a wedge.
It's man slaughter if you use an iron.
It's a $2.00 dollar fine if you use a putter. $5.00 of your score is over double bogey!

Hope I helped!
