Hydrogen peroxide is the right thing to do to induce vomiting. However, if it's not within 2 hours of ingestion it won't do any good. The risks are relative to the kind and amount the medication, the size of your dog and how long aog it ingested in it. The best thing to do is call a vet.
Or go to the www.petpoisonhotline.com or call (US) 800-213-6680

If I was in that type of situation, I would not be able to relax at all. What if the vomiting you induced did not work. The medication may still be in his system and doing damage, even if you can't see it. I wouldn't take any chances, I would take him to the vet and have him checked to make sure he's ok. Good Luck! I hope everythings ok!

Call your vet and ask.
Then if they ask that they might want to look at your dog bring it to the vet
Then maybe Xray it
Hopefully it will be fine.
Some medicine are fine but some arent when they are swallowed by dogs

I would either call the vet or even the regular pharmacy. If a vet isn't available, the pharmacy may be able to provide an emergency number for a poisoning hotline. Good luck.

You should be calling you vets after hours emergency so they can answer your question.
Did you see the pill regurgitated? How long after swallowing the pill did you induce vomiting?
Please keep all prescriptions and/or other potential hazards under lock and key. Dogs (and kids) can get into more than we think!)
Good luck.

Was it Phenobarbitone?
Look at side effects on your medication info sheet I think you will find it causes drowsiness, and possible seizures, it should be out of the dogs system within 12 hours.
Ring the poisions info line and tell them they can usually work it out based on your dogs weight (compared to childrens verse adult human).
If your dog vomitted soon after eatring med then it should be fine.

A friend of mine had a dog accidentaly take a morphine pill once and she turned out fine. Just keep a close eye on her and if you suspect anything going wrong, I'd call your vet's 24 hour line!
