that would depend on the airline
some airlines (delta, american.united have both Internation and domestic flights
most flight attendent probally start out on a domestic flights
and later on depending on the airline; and seniorty they might be able to bid for international flights..
also some flights can also be domestic and international
at the same time
Like a flight from Los Angeles, to Atlanta then same plane then flies onto to say London
mostly likely there would be a crew change in Atlanta

depends on the airline. I flew for Continental and was an international flight attendant. But if i wanted to be domestic, all i had to do was put in a "transfer" even though I'd be based in Newark either way. The international flight attendants were divided between speakers and non-speakers and only a certain number of speakers needed to be assigned to a particular flight, although it wasn't a requirement.
