That would depend on whether he slips down 2 ft every night, if he manages to crawl 3ft in a day and if he continues to climb straight up and not go off track at all. If none of these factors matter and the very clever snail goes up 3ft everyday slips down 2ft every night and in a straight line (can it really happen?) then the answer would be six days as he is covering 1ft of real ground per day.

How many days will it take to be at the top of the well? = 10 - 3 + 1 = 8 Answer: 8 days On the 7th day it will be 7 meters high. On the 8th day he reaches the 10-meter height and will not slip down anymore because it will be already at the top.

6 days, because the snail slips 2 ft a night and start over from the remaining 3ft.

Four days.
But very good, you caught a few people out.
Day 1: 3 - 2 = 1
Day 2: 1+3 - 2 = 2
Day 3: 2+3 - 2 = 3
Day 4: 3+3 = 6
He's at the top on day 4.

He will be up in four days.
Day one 3
Night one -2=1
Day two 1+3= 4
Night one -2 = 2
Day three 2+3 =5
Night three -2=3
Day four 3+3= 6 and that's the top!

4 days: - on day 1 he got to 3 feet and slipped back to 1 foot;
at the end of day 2 he had got up to 4 feet, then slipped back to 2;
at the end of day 3 he got up 5 feet and slipped back to 3;
at the end of the fourth day he is at the top of the wall and can hang on there to go over the top.

Snails can crawl up walls?
I'd say six days but it seems too easy.
