How do you expect us to evaluate the truth of religion, other than through our own interpretation of it?

You have to first take into consideration how religions came to be. Before we had kings, queens, emperors or knights, there was religion. In fact, it was a Pope that made a king wait in the snow for about three days to have an audience.

Religion, in short, is man's interpretation of God, Allah, Whatever. We, as humans, create a religion to feel closer to this power so that we do not feel alone in the universe. Sometimes the interpretations are comical, some vilianous, and some even noble.

However, growing up in a Christian family (no religious affiliation), I do know a little bit about the Bible. Anyone who claims to be a Christian only needs to have a "personal relationship with Jesus" to get to Heaven. Now, if that's the case for all Christianity, why so many different sects? Because of the interpretation.

You could say that in the Christian world, there is only one way to get to Heaven, yet a million man-made hoops to jump through to see the light.

Leave it to the filthy humans to ruin something that in theory is a good thing.

Religion is the result of the interpretation of people. If the interpretation is wrong, then the people are wrong and the religion is wrong -- and that pretty much covers it.

Yes, religion is generally wrong. Adam started life in the spiritual with GOD. Then he was banished. Religion is a futile attempt to re-establish link with GOD. The futility is due to the fact that GOD is Spirit and that all of His activities are in the Spiritual. On the other hand, man lives in flesh and blood with no impression at all in the spiritual.

Jesus Christ came to undo the banishment by His resurrection. Proper baptism backed by the New Covenant unites you with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. You are born of water and your spirit is reconciled with GOD. Your spirit can now be born of Spirit to be led to do the will of GOD, to have the righteousness of GOD and live eternally. Then you worship in the spirit. You see, religion has no place in the Mission of Jesus Christ.

Religion has invented 'give your life to Christ'. It cannot be found in the Bible, it means nothing and achieves nothing.

Please note that flesh and blood has easy access to the spirituality of Satan.

Without people, religion would not exist.

You've got kind of a circular argument here.

What is it just more to argue about and distract you from the truth about God and His word if people would just read the word of God theirselves and quit looking to man we'd all be alot better off

All religion is ..is man's futile attempt to reach God.

God in His attempt to reach man, sent His son Jesus christ to reach man.

Many people have their own little box that they expect God to do things, but He has chosen His own way to reveal their pride and ignorance.
