The main resurrection has yet to occur after the Second Coming. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is still years away, but we are not allowed to know the exact year or day or time. I like sharing this quote I heard from Elder Boyd K. Packer of the 12 Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, back in 1987 or so, to the Seminary-aged students (say age 14 to 18). He said not to worry so much about the Second Coming, that they had time to grow up, get married, have children (and joked "that would serve you right") and even grandchildren. So even though the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is probably within your lifetime, there are still several years to go. It could be 10 years, it could be 20. The important thing is to keep track of your ancestors and genealogy and get ready for a very big family reunion.

The Terran Bible mentions many such resurrections. In Hebrews
it says even Abel still spoke though "dead".
In Matthew I think, some saints resurrected the minute Christ died. There is the resurrection of the souls from the past in
Revelation. The ones under the altar.
There is a Great Crowd that comes through "Great Tribulation", the Worldwide Erarthquake and the spiritual repercussions.
There is the resurrection of the "dead in Christ" at the Rapture.
I think this is the First Resurrection mentioned.
Then there is 1000 years of peace. The Bad Guy gets let out for a while. And then the Resurrection of the DEAD, and White Throne Judgement.
But when that occurs, who knows. It may be another 10,000
Earth years from now!

The firstfruits began the first resurrection, the GREAT and terrible day of the Lord will complete the first resurrection but could be counted as part two. The end of the this resurrection will happen ALL YEAR, from the beginning of that End of the wicked. The wicked will not be resurrected till the end of the mellenium when death and hell give up their dead.
but the words say that everyone will be resurrected, both the good and the evil.

Different times. First one occurred when Christ arose and many others arose
Matthew 27
52 And the agraves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Next will be when he comes again at the beginning of the Millenium (thousand years Christ on earth). Only those worthy to live with Christ will be resurrected at that time. At the end of the Millenium all will finally be resurrected and assigned to appropriate places.

When Jesus returns......at the last trump

.The 'rapture ' of the Church occurs simultaneously with Christ's second Coming in glory and the resurrection of the dead.............All occur together,(see I Thess. 5:15-17); ..."AFTER the Tribulation of those days"(Matt. 24:29-31)
"...At the LAST trumpet"... I Corin. 15:52

Don't be deceived by the fictional "Left Behind" series....which is based on a common misconception that claims the 'rapture' occurs years before Christ's Return. This is not found in Scripture.
