i think all forms of birth are a type of cloning. what makes Us different from the clones before us, is that our dna is scrambled to make and create NOT duplicate copies. Also NO clone should be copied identically, even twins are not totally identical copies.
I also have come to the conclusion that there is no body that has life of itself except it is animiated by the spirit. The spirit is eternal but the body is just a 'robot'. I would wonder if the spirit in a clone is actually the same spirit that Animates each one that is clones.
I do SEE that God places the spirit within each of us, but whether that is at conception or sometime during the time in the womb or at the moment of first breath is still debateable. i even think i have experienced being placed in this body after i had i died, like i was reanimated without being resurrected, so i can fulfill some kind of mission. there are several experiences that have led me to come to that conclusion that each person has a timeline that can be cut, pasted and copied if it be the will of God.

Why would cloning be neccessary in the first place? Besides using that clone to serve the original? I dont' think we should waste time trying to clone humans or even livestolk, there's better things to do in this world.

Cloning isn't what people think it is. All it is is an identical twin. Identical twins are one egg, and one sperm. It was meant to be ONE person, but for some reason that science still can't explain, it divided and became TWO people. Natural clones! They even have the exact same DNA.

As for whether or not it should be done, my biggest concern would be that science wouldn't get it completely right, and you'd wind up with a lot of sick people on your hands.

They already are. They're called "identical twins".

If you're talking about artificial cloning, then the main social objections would lie in the motivations for people wanting a genetically identical child. Would this just be a severe form of narcissism? The main scientific objections lie in the fact that with current technology artificial clones tend not to be healthy, this is not going to change without a process of experimentation, which would be very difficult to justify ethically.

No because on Star Wars the clones had the dark side of the force and they like turned against the Jedi and stuff except Obi Wan and Yoda were too cool to get waxed but all the other Jedi got killed and you can't trust them clones.

i dont think so because then it would be really weird to the clone. they would have no real mother and father, and have to live their whole life knowing their just a clone of someone else whos real. i think it would be a very horrible thing for the clone to deal with. and also, some people might think their strange and unhuman because their a clone. it could be very hard to make friends and be in relationships.

The only thing that helps us is originality and the fact that you can be unique. If someone is cloned, they become like a replica of someone and it isnt at all original. I like being the only one of me, and as for twins, they are still very original and they have unique qualities.

No, it wouldnt be right, besides there are already more than enough humans in the world.

I don't think so, but not because I feel cloning in its most basic definition is immoral; rather that, cloning is known to lead to genetic problems and undesirable mutations and it is not write to subject many children to such things for the sake of getting it write.

I especially am against any form of embryonic or infant experimentation even on clones.

absolutely not. thats like playing God. God made humans so why some scientist thinks they can make them better is beyond me. Same goes with cloning animals. theres millions of unwanted pets in the world, yet we're spending thousands to recreate fluffy, the beloved family dog. I think the saying "when you play with fire, youre likely to get burned" applies here. We dont really know what could happen by cloning humans but I think the effects could end up being drastic. Maybe not now, maybe not for years..But I think if we continue trying to clone humans, we're gonna get burned.
