to get along with people who have a different outlook on life than you? We are all part of the same reality, we're all in this together. Since each one of us is only part of the whole, we are only given part of the answer, or part of it's truth; and we need each other to fill in the missing peices of ourself so that we can make whole the 'one great thing'. Everything and everybody is connected, there is no space between; we are all part of the same thing. So, show a little compassion and respect for someone who sees your beliefs as being just as different as you see theirs.

Good advice. I have friends from all beliefs and phylosophical backgrounds.

I accept and respect everyone whose beliefs are not based on, or inclusive of, hatred and discrimination. If people's faith brings them comfort and purpose than that is wonderful. If it's just a crutch than maybe they have more soul searching to do. I'm still searching myself, never have found anything that fit me spiritually and yet people judge me for not just wholeheartedly accepting and adhering to their beliefs. It's a personal thing, I don't understand why anyone cares what anyone else believes.

Apparantly so. Even though we are all parts of the whole, if someone is a little different, we'll shun them. It's a part of human nature that leaves a rather foul taste in my mouth.

All men share the poetic genius, and because all men are infinitely different, such as the poetic genius that all men share. This poetic genius is the foundation of all that we go by.
