How do you get a girlfriend when your twelve?

I'm twelve and I really like this girl at school. Me and her have been Best friends for 3 and a half years, but nothing more than friends, one time I asked her to the dance, but she like I dont' know what she did. What really hurt me was that even she knowed I liked her because I told her, she goes out with one of my friends, is it becuase a lot of my other friends and classmates tease us because I like her. Does she think if she says yes it will ruin her reputation. I also give her great things like earings necklaes for her birthday and valentines, and the other guys that she liked (LIKED) they didn't get her anything

I have changed my response. I am 13 right now, and i just remembered my best friend wuz in ur situation. he had a huge crush on me and it really sucked cuz I just wanted to be friends. Later, after he finally stopped liking me, it wuz still totally awkward and it took 3 months for evrything 2 get back to normal. I think you should leave her alone, and stay frends.

hey, i understand what u mean, i just turned 13 and i personaly know why is she doing this, most girls will only like a guy 4 looks or shes nervous and she doesnt want to tell u, you have all the rights 2 have a gf, but you shouldnt waste your time buying her really really nice things. go with stuff she really likes, just explain to her you like her but you can both be friends, try being nice to her, tell her you really like her and be polite to her.
