A little "Rebellious" maybe? Or,, it could very well be you dont trust anyone, or anything new...... Or, your a "Creature" of habit.. Or, you may have some insecure issues... Or maybe you dont like doing what people ask of you, because your born a "natural boss" of your own business, and just haven't found your goals yet.... It could be many things that cause you to be this way hun. Dont give up yet!! Sometimes in life, we have to go through some "hard-knocks" before we find our place in this world.. Been there, done that...... You'll be just fine, hun... Just hang in there, and enjoy life, while your young!!! Smile!!!

That's typical behavior for a teenager.

It could also be that perhaps there is something inherently wrong in what others feel you are "supposed" to do. After all, in Nazi Germany, young Germans were taught that they were supposed to behave like bigots. So, if a young German was to buck the system so-to-speak, he or she could be in putting him or herself in danger. Look at some of the more fundamentalist countries out there. They advocate harming those of other races, ethnicities, or religious beliefs. A perfectly sane human being could find their teachings horrendous and yet his fellow countrymen could consider him "abnormal" for feeling so.

It's all relative. It depends on what your community's cultural norms are. It may be that you have more sense than the rest of your peers. Or it could be just the opposite.

Because you lack the maturity to see the reason why you should do what you are supposed to do. I know that sounds mean but I don't mean it that way. Right now, you are practically free of any responsibility so you wouldn't see the reasons behind why you shouldn't do things or the consequences for doing them. That's why it's enjoyable. Parents try to teach that by setting rules and giving you responsibilities.
Right now they're a net to catch you but when you get older, that net is gone and the fall might be fun but it's the sudden stop that sucks.

Because you want to find things out for yourself. I personally think it's easier to learn the hard way, because I actually learn! But if someone you truly trust tells you something, at least try to do it.

You're a teenager - it comes with being 14. You'll (hopefully) grow out of it.
