My second tattoo was of my initials. I have my first initial and my two middle initials. The reason I chose to do this is because of the story behind how my mom came about giving me my name. I am very proud of it. It is not a vanity thing or a self centered thing. I just am proud of how I was given my name and that's it. I didn't get my last initial because that will change one day.

I think its a self love and vanity thing....or a stupid bet among friends.
Either way, its silly and not something I would ever consider doing. To me its not as bad as getting a tattoo of your boy/girlfriend's name on you, but still bad.
Stick with the dead or the relationships that will not change (i.e. your kids, you mom or dad, brothers and sisters)

I don't know...I always think it is silly. You already know your name....I dont think you need a reminder, unless you have amnesia, what are the chances of that happening? But I guess its better than getting someone elses name, because you will always have your name.

one guy i know got his name on his forearm cause he was drunk and it was a bet but thats one stupid way of getin a tattoo. he says he loves it cause if someone asks his name he jus puts out his arm. people are weird like that but hey whatever floats ure boat right? lol

? my first tattoo was my name in korean. my mom is from korea. i guess it was my way of having an ink link to my heritage. i have since gotten it covered up and have a much better heritage tribute piece. mostly names are people's first tattoos and it is for lack of something better to get? i don't regret getting it but i also am glad i got it covered up. i have much higher tattoo standards now.

I have a tattoo of my name on me and i was 14 teen and stupid but now i am taking theme off.
