Because Christianity and Judaism isn't the same thing. Christianity is built on a part of Judaism (not all of it). Also, I am much more aggravated by Christianity than I am by Judaism. Every Jewish person I've met has not been judgemental of me based on the fact that I'm not Jewish. I wish I could say the same for Christians. I also have Christianity shoved in my face all the time. I could care less about discrediting Judaism. Why would I want to? On the other hand, if I have some snotty Christian in my face about going to Hell, it's pretty easy to start picking them apart.

Mostly because Jews don't convert people to Judaism. The other reason is because there are far more Christians Not only in the US but in the world then there are Jews.
And the reason people use science/reason or history, is because that's the way most people who disagree with Christianity or the bible relate to the world. It makes more sense than following a book because the book claims to be the word of God.

WHy do Christians try and prove their views? Why do some people think creationism should be presented alongside evolution as if it is a real scientific theory? Christians say I shouldn't have the right to do what I want with my body. They would prevent people from marrying just because they disagree. Not all Christians, but some. There are mean crazies on either side of this but do not act like atheists and non-Christians are the only people that are bashing here!

I can use the very same arguments on the old testament and have on many occasions...the point I would make and maybe others will to is that Jews aren't in the business of converting the gentiles as a means to fill the church coffers or in a mistaken believe that if they turn souls over to god that they will get a turn in the seat next to Jesus. Science and history can in fact disprove all religions. The Torah is the allegorical historical stories of the desert Hebrews of a time over 2000 years ago.

There are lots of reason, sometimes sheer spite, but mainly - Christianity has had an oposing outlook on the other beliefs since it left Jesus. Christianity's started wars (civil and inter-continental), killed it's own people and enforced it's dogma upon much of the world of today.
The main problem today, even if we overlook the years of suffering it has caused (because, lets face it, the people of today aren't guilty of the sins of the people of yesterday), is the fact the a fair amount of modern Christians, mostly North American, are trying to impose their beliefs on the world yet again in areas such as science (the evolution vs creationism "debate") and politics (gay marriage, abortion rights, etc). These are areas that any religion just does not belong.
If people would keep their beliefs to themselves, then there'd be no problems. :)

I don't know why anyone would try disproving a religion, that doesnt make the disprover's religion correct.
If I said the sky was pink, you could disprove that it wasn't pink, but you didn't prove what color it really was, so the sky could still be one of the other millions of colors.
I suppose people target Christianity because it has the largest following.

I don't think there is an active campaign amongst scientists and philosophers to disprove Christianity. It is merely a by-product of their findings and understanding. Once scientists make a discovery, it automatically wipes out creationist and theist theory. I think scientists and philosophers are more passionate about proving and discovering things, not in the anti-results of their findings. Only Christians tend to work so much in the negative.

Judaism has always been persecuted through out history. Ever heard of the Holocast? In my opinion, no religion is better or bears more truth then the other ones.

bcuz :
1 The Bible was written by people who thought the world was flat.
2. There is potential evidence to suggest that the Bible is metaphoric in nature, thus putting its credibility into question.
( In the Old Testament, there are only 2 direct references to dinosaurs - "leviathan" and "great beasts". Why ??"
3. Christians believe that we are the only intelligent civilization in the entire universe. Newsflash: The universe is too big for us to be the only intelligent life in it.
hope this helps.

they try to dissprove christianity at its start point. that is at the begining. i find this ironic. of course if i was satan i would start at the same place. if you take the begining out then all of the Bible falls behind it. i find it ironic how the Bible says they will do that. they say they have all the proof and all. and more evidance. however the Bible has not been disproven but rather proven. there is scripture that said the earth is round before they even new that. the scriptures say those who follow the Lord and love the Lord will be persecuted. and we will be hated for his sake. well look around. if you are christian you get blamed for everything pretty much now and called many names. the Bible also said we will get a mark in our right hand or forehead and well last i checked many are now being implanted in there RIGHT hand or forehead. to a point there trying to pass it for everyone to have to have an implant. right now they passed the real id. that is supposed to take over for social security card, drivers liscence. and they say if you dont have it you cant have a job or a bank account. they say however you can change the info on them by cutting them and stuff. so that is why they are now trying to go with the implant instead. hmmm. not to mention evolutionist have changed over and over again. i choose to stick with what has stayed the same. that God created us all. rather then trying to explain it because i dont want to face reality. and even then they cant explain it.
