I wonder if these religious missionaries realize that when they try to 'save' someone they are just pushing them further away. But they probably don't or don't care as long as they get brownie points for trying LOL

Jesus commanded his followers to preach. That doesn't mean that everyone is going to listen or be eager to convert. There's a religion & spirituality section for a reason- all humans have a spiritual need. I for one answer questions sometimes because I know the answer from the bible and I want others to have the chance to learn more about God's marvellous promises. I'd consider it unkind NOT to preach if I see a chance. :)

i was called by words of the saviour from his own lips. I am here to answer questions according to my personal study and experiences. if someone asks a question it is an OPEN forum to answer, the cause of so many missionaries should be a testament to the faith of so many people that believe. Whether they are right or wrong is Indeed opinion based on tradition. but whether someone will LISTEN to the truth when they are reproved, and humble themselves enough to repent is another matter altogether.

Why are there so many religious missionary's on YA?
I was attracted because I REALLY TRULY believed there were people who wanted to KNOW!
Sad it had to degenerate in to a grade 7 debating forum.

Could be because you are in the Religious/Spirituality section. Though it doesnt explain why so many Atheists are here.
I also imagine in the sports section there are alot of sports fans as well. Gee I wonder why.

If I ask someone what must you do to get to heaven, and they answer me to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior than that's all I need to know. What there denomination is irrelevant. Now if that was not the answer than as a Christian it is my responsibility to share the Gospel with them. What happens after that is up to them.

Hahaha...I agree with Sirius.
Sure there are probably some people who are just trying to prove their own beliefs, but a lot of the questions are from people who are seeking answers. And you can't blame us for providing them.

Neither is there any reason for those who believe in GOD to deny HIS existence. You propose that we not accept HIS mission and answer questions of those who ask them. I am a Christian and I believe that it is our duty to be as honest and truthful as possible on here and to answer from our perspective. Have a great week!

And yet you persist to convince others that "there is no need to preach that one or another is right." If you want to stay neutral, try remaining silent.
