i have a female budgie who laid an egg inside a clothing basket off all places! ( this iw what i get for letting her fly around) i moved the egg with gloves to the cage and she didnt acknoldge it....i put it back there and shes sitting on it....i want to take her back to the cage with egg? whats the best way...so she doenst using lothign basket/?

so far i moved the egg seperatly while she watched.....and it in the cage if not i will try anonymus's way. thanks

just simply place your hand under the bird and the egg while holding the birds back and gently pick it u p and move it to the cage or wherever your going to place it and slowly place it down while hand still on back slowly move hand from under bird and let go of the birds back and your done.

lots of birds will avoid their eggs if moved only a few feet. Try moving cage in to see what she does when the egg is inside it. If you move a common pigeons nest 2 feet they abandon it
