how do i get a date for v day if i am so self concious and i think i am ugly. please no dumb answers

i know you heard the saying, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." what someone might see unattractive, is someone else's beauty. the truth is if you believe that you're unattractive and insecure, ppl will see that and become uninterested in you. so change that attitude and maybe someone might notice you. v-day is over-rated, it's not just for couples it's also about showing love for friends and family. a couple of years ago before v-day i stressed about v-day, waited until someone would ask me out, but that never happened. i spent that day with a couple of friends who were in my same situation and we enjoyed ourselves. the next day our friends who had dates, told us the terrible things that occurred on their dates. so enjoy yourself and life because stressing yourself about one day is not worth it.

1st of all, why do you think that of yourself? You have already defeated your efforts of meeting someone. What standard are you using to develop your opinion? You have to project how wonderful you are to others. We set the tone on how people treat us. Even if you don't have the physical traits society tells us is beauty, you have to know your worth inside your self.
Secondly, why is it necessary to have a date on V-day? It's not good to get caught up in the "need someone for the holiday" syndrome. You can probably find a "date" but will this person be worth your company?
Are you male or female? (Just curious).

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.Not everyone can think we are beautiful.Trust me there is somebody who thinks you are beautiful.Boys or men like women who are out spoken so get out there and make yourself available.Don,t be shy and hide away cause everybody is beautiful in someway or other.Be strong and don,t let anybody tell you different.If there is somebody you want to ask out then do it.If he says no he,s not worth it Then move on and try the next guy.Somebody is waiting for you too.

People always judge themsleves harsher then everyone else. so chances are your probablly not ugly at all. If your looking for a date try not to act like you think your ugly, but dont be cocky about it. just go with it and try to find someone thats into you.

Just keep asking till someone says yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that means people look at you the way you look at yourself, your beautiful and that's what you should believe......

dont pity yourself too much... show them some self confidence! and stop being self conscious! show your beauty inside and out! trust me, you will get a date tom. if you do that ^.~
