No they go into heat or estrus. It happens for most female dogs two times a year and it last three to four weeks. The best thing you can do is spay your dog then there will be no messy heats to deal with.

Yes dogs do have periods if you do not get them spaded. They do make doggie pads. You can take an old pair of panties and cut a whole in them so the tail can fit through and put them on the dog. If you do not want to do that you can get doggie pads at your pet supplier.

Yes, a female dog will have a season twice a year, usually every six months or so. And yes, there are panties you can buy with the hole for the tail to fit through that you can put a pad in.
They do bleed for about the first 2 weeks. A heat season (period) lasts 21 days.

yes! dog have periods just like us! no they do not have pads or tampons keep your dog out side at that time of the month!

Yes, they most definitely have periods, some heavier than others. They do sell doggie diapers in pet stores you can buy. They are suppose to work really well.

yes, this is coming in season, or coming in heat.
please keep a close eye on your pet, this is the time when they are ready to be bred, so ,if you do not want your dog bred, keep her inside, or in a fenced yard, yes there are pads for dogs that are in season, but most will not keep them on.

All females have periods... Sometimes males act like they have the period, however all females have the extra discomfort. Dog's don't like pads... They will naturally take it off, although if you buy a washable harnass one size smaller it's hard to take off...
