I usually say 'Hi, cutie!' then scoop it up on a piece of paper and set it gently outside. Unless it's a spider ... I love them because they eat flies and other 'bad bugs' that can bite. I don't know wny most girls scream ... I was one once (I'm older now) and never did. My HUSBAND screams, though, and cowers in the corner until I've 'removed the bug' from his sight. Try figuring THAT one out!

When I'm outside, I generally leave bugs alone. In my house, it depends on the bug. I keep live crickets to feed my frogs (and they tend to escape). I usually put the escapees outside. For other bugs, I either let my cats play with them, smash them or ignore them...entirely mood dependent.
I did scream once when there was a 2 inch horsefly sitting in my bedroom at 3 am...not pleasant to wake up to.

Grab a glass to cover it. Push cardboard under glass & bug. Take outside and send it on its way! The scream is a call for help.

Bugs don't bother me spiders do. It all started at a 6th grade just say no to drugs pizza/movie party were we watched arachnophobia. Ever since then I have not been able to handle spiders. The other day I had to jump out of shower and have my fiance kill it.

I usually go, "Ack! Kill it!" And I point it out to my boyfriend. I don't scream because I'm not a screamer. If I'm the only one home, I'll kill it, but it usually takes me a bit to work up the nerve.
If it's a spider, it's another story. I DO NOT do spiders, and the bigger they are, the more likely I am to go catatonic. I'm not even joking. They are the one thing that I am absolutely terrified of.

well it depends on what type of bug it is... spiders are fine... other types it depends... most people don't like bugs because they don't understand them... if they were to know stuff about the bug they could know that most bugs are not harmful and if left alone they won't bother anyone...

i smash it with my shoe. most girls scream cause they are scared. some probably had little or big brothers who chased them around with bugs. others its probably a habit that theyve gotten into.or cause theyre mom/sisters do.
