If you train the puppy to be good with the baby it will. There is no problem. Just be careful in the beginning, more watchful. Just like you train the dog not to drink out of the toilet you can train him to be good with the baby,

it's better to have the baby first then the puppy but doing it the other way round shouldn't be a problem so long as the puppy is trained and when the baby is born it is supervised at all times when it's near the baby. NEVER LEAVE A BABY ALONE WITH ANY ANIMAL EVEN FOR A SECOND no matter how cuddly, friendly, adorable or loyal the animal is, puppies can get very jealous. yours may be jealous of the baby if the puppy doesn't get the same love and attention once baby arrives as it did before baby was on the scene. it may just get jealous full stop and jealous puppies can be aggressive. your job is going to be very hard because you'll be pulled 3 ways - baby, husband, dog. good luck!

You can totally have a dog around your baby. Just prepare the dog in advance for the arrival of your newborn.
Long before I even thought of having children, I made it a point to get my dog past any possessiveness that she might possibly have. Since we got her as a puppy, it was relatively easy.
While she was eating, I would go over and move her food bowl or touch her. Initally, she got a little ticked, but she got over it. I would rather her growl or snap at me than at a baby.
I also pulled (not too hard) on her tail and ears, as children tend to do. She was a well-behaved dog and after the curiousity of having a baby in the house, she went about her business with no problems. As my baby got older they got along very well with the occassional "Be nice to the dog!" as the baby became a little too friendly.

He'll do high-quality on ANY milk, human or cow, till you'll get dog milk. You have got to hot him on your arms first, after which feed him. Cold dogs cannot digest. You have got to feed him each and every two hours. Set an alarm clock! Keep him hot. I must upload that my grandmother could simply maintain striking the dog in to nurse after one of the most different dogs had been performed and make the puppy lie down. If your puppy is not imply, check out that too.

He'll do great on ANY milk, human or cow, except you can get dog milk. You ought to heat him for your fingers first, after which feed him. Cold pups can not digest. You have got to feed him every 2 hours. Set an alarm clock! Maintain him warm. I should add that my grandmother would simply hold putting the puppy in to nurse after one of the most different domestic dogs had been done and make the canine lie down. In case your dog isn't mean, try that too.

Absolutely not my mom just had a baby and we have to dogs and they get use to having a baby around the house they are curious about the baby but they will not get to close one of my dogs won't even go near him. Dogs usually get jealous of the baby and leave them alone so yeah keep the dog just keep a close eye on the baby and the dog just in case don't worry though they get use to having a baby around and eventually they become best friends.

No, it's not bad having dogs with a newborn. I had a house full of dogs with both my kids. The problems happen only if - you have a dog with an unstable temperament and secondly, if you don't teach your kids how to respect and treat a dog. I believe dogs and kids belong together, provided you as the parent, can teach both how to act. You have to use a little common sense but there's no reason to get rid of this puppy (unless it has temperament problems).

Its perfectly fine to have a puppy in the house with a baby. I hear cats arent so good to have but as long as you dont leave the animal and child unattended you should be fine. Peekaboo will love your little one and protect your little one as well. They will be great pals

newborns don't do much it is a massive anti climax, they can only get out of theire cot if you choose on the puppy cant get in the cot so ther is no problem there but use the time of pregnancy to train and gain control of your young dog before the baby is here, i also suggest if you know anyone with babies or young children invite them over so pup can get used to the smell of nappies.

Don't get rid of the dog. I've had puppies and dogs all my life.
Including all through the lives of my children. I had 7 dogs when my son was born.
