I am sooooo tired of people that are like 14 and go out with somebody and they don't even talk to each other let alone go out with that person so how can that be dating or having a bf/gf????? Who else thinks it is stupid to do this??? I think you should be like 16 when you start dating so you actually have a "real" relationship. Does anyone out there feel that they are not ready to date at 14???

I am 14 myself and I'm not in any rush to date. People my age have bfs/gfs just for the sake of having a bf/gf. It's sort of annoying. However, I don't think 14 is too young to start dating. If you find someone you like who likes you back, and you know each other pretty well, why wait?

as a 13 year old who has been on answers for a while and ive noticed that you adults don't give us enough credit. This may be a shock to you but you can walk to the place. Amazing I know. As far as talking goes thats why you have a cell phone and ou do hang out alot so I label this question irrelevant.

im almost 24 and i look back at when i was 14 ( god i feel old) and i think what was i thinking. i thought i was so grown up and so in love but now i know that i didnt know much at that time and that i was very immature. i agree with you that people ar 14 are too young to date they should be focusing on school and their friends but who am i to try to change the world?

i started going out with my NOW fiance at 14 1/2 and he was 15. we been together for 2 years. no sex, and we're in real love. and plan on getting married. but yes for those who say their dating and dont talk to one aother yea that is stupid but hardly anyone does that now.
so yea i was ready at 14, and he was too. and our realtionship is "real"

Well,I'm 12 and I went out with my boyfriend yesterday ad we always talk and e-mail each other!! Age shouldn't really matter if you're serious about a relationship!

those kids are just trying to be mature, they don't have anything real going on, its just for display. but ya, they should wait till they can actually be together and have something real.
