I believe it has although Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was a great leader. I just wish others like Al Sharpton and the Rev Jesse Jackson would stop trying to be like him only to fall miserably short.

Sure, Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy to name two. He was a great man, but not a saint. He helped, along with many others who remain unnamed and unexaulted, to bring about equality. People seem to forget he wasn't alone in this quest, yet time has a tendency to totally erase all the others. Its really very sad that because he was murdered in a very public way, he'll always be remember, while others who fought for the same thing have already been forgotten.

The essay contains how I felt at 14 whilst Dr. King exchange into shot, how my mum and dad reacted and tried to describe it to me... an enormously political little female who enjoyed him very plenty. This 12 months I extremely enjoyed the analyzing by way of fact it exchange into the fortieth Anniversary. it is often so touching to work out how passionately the 'tweens' react. Then all of us gentle candles and function white cupcakes with white frosting.

Yes, While MLK was very brave man and gave his life for his cause (literally cause he knew they would get him) he was a plagiarist and intellectual dishonest leader. Not a great role model.
