A person asked two question on this sight: "What would it take for a christian to lose their beliefs" and "What would it take for an atheist to believe in a God". Now given those weren't the exact wordings (sorry GrimJack), but that's not the point. When reading the articles of the latter, i found that all atheists would be willing to change their beleif if they witnessed a miracle. But in the former, no christian said they would change their beleif. Is this the definition of blind faith or what?

I actually didn't say that...but who cares right? My opinion makes no difference. ;)
Lol I can see what you mean though.
I am a christian, but I still think that you should always be able to take some time out and rethink where you are going and question what you believe to be true.

You have two situations to consider in your question..first off, the FACTUAL evidence an atheist would need to change his mind AND the FAITH being lost of a believer. The reason you never see a believer saying they will change their mind is because they take religion based on FAITH already, in the absence of factual evidences at the time. Faith is something which grows and is aided by some factual evidence, but basically is and always will be about believing in something one cannot see. Atheists would need FACTUAL evidence in order to build a belief...yet, faith is what God askes for today from His children. "Can you believe without seeing?" or "Can you follow without knowing EACH step?" is what is asked of God's children today.

You changed the variable for one and not for the other. You gave factual evidence FOR God to the atheist and did not give FACTUAL evidence for there NOT being a god to the believer.

That's because a Christian can explain everything that happens by fitting it into their beliefs. But an atheist who witnesses a miracle wouldn't be able to explain that according to his beliefs, so he would need some way to rationalize it. Of course, miracles don't happen, so he would explain it as a natural occurance.

That's basically the reason that religious flame wars are doomed to fail. One side can't convince the other that they're wrong. They simply see the world in two different ways.

Actually the definition of faith is firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2) : complete trust.

So saying that Christianity is blind faith is a true statement. Faith is believing is something you can't see, that's why Christians are so blessed by God the Father.

Yes, I believe in Jesus, and thank the Father that He loved ME enough to send His only begotten Son to pay the penalty for my sins! Praise Jesus!

No, the definition of blind faith is to believe something is true regardless of the evidence against it. Since the Bible gives us clear evidence and reasons for faith and observational science continues to confirm the Bible as true, Christians do not by nature have a blind faith. Those who ignore the evidence and reasons for Biblical faith are those who have faith in nothing (save only themselves)... therefore their faith is truly blind.

You must assume that given enough evidence man will believe in God, however, the problem is not with the amount of evidence but the interpretation of this evidence that is manifest to man and in him. The Christian has been brought forth from darkness, so why would they go back.

That's just it, faith IS blind. Science always asks questions, where Religion states truths.
If I were to tell you scientifically, time travel was possible, then I must also prove it.
If I were to tell you religiously, there is life after death, then you would have to believe it.

What is and what is not based on faith alone, logically has no factual foundation.

Maybe because if the Christians were willing to change their minds in the face of overwhelming non-evidence, they would have already done so and became the open-minded atheists.

That is because the seal of Christ cannot be undone. It's not blind faith, it's matter of fact and stamped with completeness and purpose for eternity. Those things are eternal...and cannot be taken away...stronger, more solid, more firm, and more real than the ground we walk on.
