The best medicine out there is Accutane. I tried everything from Proactive to Differin Gel to no avail. Acne needs to be treated from the inside out. Accutane shrinks your sebaceous glands, thus reducing the amount of sebum on the skin. In 2 months, you start to see amazing results! I have been off of Accutane for over a year and a half and only get the occasional zit. It goes away in 3 or 4 days, rather than the month it took before! No more big, red pimples, just a small bump or two. It really does work and the side effects were a small price to pay for nice skin and loads of self confidence!

hi to answer your question...
Aim to drink six to eight glasses of water daily. This will aid your body systems in functioning properly, especially your skin.
Using antibiotics has side effects and may have long-term consequences as the body becomes resistant to the antibiotics. Bacteria is not the primary cause of acne, prolonged use of antibiotics should be avoided.

Adults with acne shouldn't use anti-acne products made for adolescents. These products may strip too much natural oil from their skin. Products containing salicylic acid, which is milder than the benzoyl peroxide found in most products for teens, is a better choice.
Certain essential oils are also beneficial in the treatment of acne. These essential oils can be applied topically for the treatment of mild to moderate acne. The best essential oils for acne treatment are: Tea Tree Oil, Bergamot Oil, Clove Oil, Lavender Oil, and Rosewood Oil. If the essential oil needs to be diluted, mix it with Grapeseed Oil for best results.

In order to find the best acne treatment for you, start with essential oils. If that doesn't work, go to the next step by trying ProActive. If ProActive doesn't work, then try a prescription alternative. You may also consider being tested for food allergies, as certain allergies can cause acne. In this case, the only treatment you need is to eliminate those certain foods from your diet.

Hope this has been some help..
bye

Have you tried Proactive?
I would always try to use the Clearasil type stuff in the grocery store but it never worked. Then I finally broke down and bought Proactive. It absolutely positively works.
Cleared my face up in about two weeks.
