live in an apt in manhattan. it is 2 combined aprtments. our closet used to be a kitchen and i understnad the plumbing is still there. We now want to turn it into a bathroom and we are wondering how different the plumbing is and if we have to move plumbing lines, etc. and cost

if you already have a toilet in the other bathroom, then id sugget you make this bathroom into a tub or shower room only maybe with a sink and vanity. because the toilet is a very labor intensive and costly piece to install. and its best done by a pro.

The biggest challenge would be the toilet's sewer connection, the rest would be fairly simple and probably only a couple of hours work for a good plumber.

just make sure yo dotn hook the toilet flusher up to the current water cfaucet turn on switich or every tiem you flush water will fly up evereywere, price range a ***tload
