I don't. But I do believe in the Epic of Gilgamesh. This is probably the story that the Ark story is based on. Part of the Mediterranean was empty, and there were cities down in the valley. The piece of land holding back the water was weak and eventually gave out, flooding the towns in the valley. The cities are still there at the bottom of the Mediterranean. To the Jews of that day and age, this would have seemed like the entire world had flooded. That is what wound up in the Bible. Do I believe the rest of the Bible? Which parts? I guess I believe in some of it, but most of it makes no sense to me.

I do believe it, because I believe the Bible is God's truth. There is research to verify the authenticity of the Ark, but ultimately, it is about accepting this story in faith. I choose to do so.
