I don't. But I do believe in the Epic of Gilgamesh. This is probably the story that the Ark story is based on. Part of the Mediterranean was empty, and there were cities down in the valley. The piece of land holding back the water was weak and eventually gave out, flooding the towns in the valley. The cities are still there at the bottom of the Mediterranean. To the Jews of that day and age, this would have seemed like the entire world had flooded. That is what wound up in the Bible. Do I believe the rest of the Bible? Which parts? I guess I believe in some of it, but most of it makes no sense to me.

Yes, 2 Timothy verse 16 says All Scripture is inspired of God and benefiiical for teaching.
Romans 15:4 For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction
You need to understand the meaning of this account. There is more to it than Noah building an Ark and putting animals of there own kind on it.
There is a scripure that tells us the end of the times will be like the days of Noah.

Noah's Ark = The biggest scare story ever invented.
In truth - If there is a god who got so p'ed that his plan backfired that he decided to kill every living human, animal and plant (save a handful) - then that god is evil and immature and not worthy of anything.

I no longer purely believe it, yet I proudly prepare it. i'm going to do it as publicly as you desire, as a results of fact it relatively is the fact. enable me wager: you're possibly coming to it from a viewpoint of lack of know-how are not you? you notice, maximum people who scoff at it are relatively ignorant. they have under no circumstances theory it by. subsequently, the assumption seems loopy to them. yet enable me additionally wager: you haven't any longer any situation assuming you're little extra advantageous than an developed monkey that each and every physique started in an ocean of goo. suitable? in case you relatively care in regards to the Noah's ark tale, then you truthfully concentrate on here: a million. Geological information of a international flood (there is lots, examine it). 2. almost each and every faith or lifestyle has a international flood tale. for sure, they have replaced it somewhat, yet lots of the bills replicate lots of the biblical account. This strongly affirms that this kind of flood could have taken place and been exceeded all the way down to many cultures human beings (it is why it is distorted). 3. Animals--maximum human beings do no longer assume animals could desire to in good shape on the ark. They fail to attain they simply needed types (ie, a canine--no longer each and every style of canine/wolf/etc). 2nd, the gap has been calculated advert nauseum, and constantly come out to unquestionably accommodate such creatures. 4. The earth replaced into distinct, as a results of fact the bible is going in great length to debate. The flood replaced into the effect of no longer purely a possibly "vapor cover" ultimately liberating each and every of the moisture, yet in addition great quantities of underground water reservoirs. it is all I submit for this question, yet once you eliminate lack of know-how and skepticism, you are able to nicely be shocked at how the flood has lots extra information than evolution and so on.

My friend Noah bought a boat recently. He calls it his personal ark. So, yes. I believe Noahs ark exists. In his back yard.

I do believe it, because I believe the Bible is God's truth. There is research to verify the authenticity of the Ark, but ultimately, it is about accepting this story in faith. I choose to do so.

That would mean that the entire world is incest from some animals and some family members who lived on a ship for a month and a half. There is also not that much water on the earth.
