UNBELIEVABLE...you have just reduced the potential use of a nuclear weapon to a bomb vest strapped to a suicide bomber....very similar to any two-bit terrorist; a coward.
Sneak up on your enemy and kill them with out warning. If it doesn't, oops....run a way and try later.

A test is quite essential to see whether the product is capable of achieving the desired results. A nuclear test is to show the world that we are capable of producing the nuclear bombs and use them against the enemy countries in case the necessity crops up. It's like a warning as well as bullying. Powerful countries like the US, USSR started this sort of threatening in order to disclose their nuclear prowess. Now they are realising that the other countries are following their foot-steps and paving the way for the international unrest. Having nuclear bombs in their pockets and they are preaching international peace to the other countries!

Before using on the enemy, it is absolutely necessary for a country to make it known to the world, that it has the power and capability to use nuclear weapon. Even an enemy is capable to use nuclear weapon and using it on an enemy is self destructive. Testing is only a deterrent.

if the nuclear test is not conducted then the scientist would not no the capablities of the the nuclear bomb.if they directly drop on the enemylike you said at that time if there is any malfunctioning in the bomb then it would cause severe drawback for the country dropping that bomb.the test also help to find out the mistake in that bomb and rectify it.

That is a great question drop and find out if it works.
Then the other guy drops his and by the way it is not a good idea to use them in desert conditions. Why don't you try testing it on the russians and see why tests are a much better idea than dropping it
on someone to see if it works.Seriously now ask your science teacher why it should not be used in desert conditions

If you conduct the test then you can't use having a that weapon as a threat. No one will be afraid of your threat if your not activily testing and bragging about it. Plus if you do threaten with a weapon and then use it and it turns out to not have worked the way you hoped or whatever then you just look stupid in the eyes of the world.

The side that wins the war writes the history. It doesn't matter who was wrong or right.
If nuclear war was waged like you ask, then it would not matter who was right , or wrong....but a lot of innocent people would die, because most normal people are not involved in the politics of war.
A test is better than wholesale slaughter , but in reality, it's not so good either

Hmm... have you not heard of nuclear non-proliferation? Believe it or not, NO ONE (including you closes "allies") will like you if you drop a nuclear bomb on a country and kill its civilians. Nuclear bombs should at best be used as deterrents but honestly the only people who would think that using them in fighting is appropriate have never heard of human rights and are the first people who deserve a prompt and unescapable death.

If you don't first test it, it may fail when you drop it on the enemy. If the enemy has nuclear missles, they may think you tried to nuke them, then they will nuke you. So, I suppose it's better to test first although that doesn't mean when you acutally drop it on the enemy it won't fail, sooooo, maybe several tests until you are sure.

It was never ever necessary to even think nuclear. Do you remember Hiroshima and Nagasake; Chernobyl. He who ignores the past, is condemned to repeat it. The qreatest power is not nuclear, but the power of the mind. The clear, clean and logical mind can win any war or conflict without going nuclear.
