I'm 5'4 and I weight about 120 pounds. I eat 2 meals before exercising (breakfast and lunch, and I exercise 2-3 hours after my last meal). I drink plenty of water, juice, and milk during the day ( depending on what I want to drink through out the day. I exercise like for two hours ( I do push ups, pull ups, crunches, weights, and stretches), but my mom says it's too much for me. I disagree I feel like I could take it. I like doing a lot because I get results real fast. I have a four pack , stronger biceps/muscles, stronger chest, and what's better is that they're visible. What are your thoughts?

Most trainers recommend alternate day cycles. Do your upper body day 1, lower day 2, upper day 3....

If you weight train a muscle every day you won't see as much development as you would alternating days. Your muscles need a day of recovery/repair/growth between to really reach their full potential.

Daily cardio is even more important, an hour a day is great.

TOO much is when 2-4 days after you exercise, you are in pain. The higher the pain, the more damage you have done.

You should feel pain and discomfort during the exercise, and at times a while after-wards. But NOT the next day other than mild stiffness.

Your muscles should not be excercised every day. They need a day to rebuild. Exercise actually tears you muscles a little. The only muscle you can safely work every day is your stomach. Otherwise your body will pay for it. Do half your muscles one day and the other half on the next day. Not right side/ left side, but front/ back or upper/ lower.

If it's not hurting, it's not too much.
