Why is it when a football player gets a concushion he gets taken out of the game for a week or two and when a boxer gets a concoushion in the middle of a fight he gets put right back into the fight

The ref will give a few rudimentary tests to the fighter and if he thinks his chimes have been excessively rung, he'll stop the fight, not put him back in.

If the get one they stop the fight.

When you see the ref look at a fighters eyes he makes a determination on whether or not he can continue.
