Which has more vibrant culture and is more of a place to "party" and hang out?

There are more Museums,Galleries,Theater and ethnic diversity in NY than LA. The best DJ must stop in some point in NY. And if you are in LA.. I guess you won't have access to the Hollywood party's ....so I guess

LA, the weather, the palm trees, close to the ocean, and great scenery. However, NYC has much better food!
If you are looking for a place to party, they both are about even. You won't be bored with either of those places.

I wouldnt hang out in L.A what with the crips and guns and all that and New York has like the highest crime rate on the east coast of America.no id rather party on a yacht in Monte Carlo

When it's 18F in NYC, it's 78 degrees in LA.
When it's 95F in NYC, it's 78 degrees in LA.
However, there are 8 million interesting people in NYC
and only 78 in LA.
Definately, without a doubt, no contest... NYC.

Of course new york city is 100 times better. Some people think differently but thats my opinion.

Manhattan in NYC. Stay there, you can walk everywhere and see everything and there is something for everyone and every mood! LOVE IT!!!
