I'm the president of my youth department and we do the same thing every year for our youth conference. Thursday night we have bible classes, Friday night we have a service and Saturday afternoon we have all singing, praise dancing, poetry, etc. We also bbq outside on that saturday. I want to do something different this year, any suggestions?

This is something I see alot of at our church and I'm not putting any one down but our youth are not being shown any mission outreach at all. They don't do anything but have fellowships and outings for themselves....whatever happened to helping someone in the church rake leaves,paint,shovel snow,bake cookies, visit shut ins?

testimonies are awesome to hear anytime. ask everyone what they want to do. It IS the 'youth' department. Heh.
