I do not know. It's rather sad actually. Do any of these Christian groups read their own bible?

If you judge another and their actions you will go to hell. It says it please read it. It's a very basic concept, live your life and let others live their own your god will deal with them when they die. Otherwise you're just gonna go to hell yourself!!!

But it may have something to do with the ridiculous numbers of people that the Roman Catholic church has murdered in cold blood for money, power, and "in the name of god". AKA The Witch Trials, The Crusades, Colonization of the Americas, need I continue?

I can say that I'm not christian I'm of another "religion" that allows me to say things like that so technically I'm not damning myself.

P.s. the theoretic "Anti-Christ" is a singular entity.

Not many people consider the Roman Catholic Church as the Anti-Christ. Some that do often refer to ‘the seven hills’ mentioned in the book of Revelation. Rome was built on seven hills.

People I know that seem to have some notion of the RCC as the Anti-Christ separate the individuals from the political entity. Personally, I am a pan-Christian. However, it pans out is OK with me.

It is in God’s hands and I am thankful that He is a Holy God. He is Righteous and Just. I have enough to handle in my life without worrying about something I cannot know and if I did - it would not make any difference.

At 80 years old and with colon and prostate cancer, I wonder why people get upset over such things. Faith in Jesus Christ is the key. My 55 years of growing faith and a personal relationship with Jesus give me wonderful Peace in my heart and I look forward to passing over and being with Him.

Protestants cannot satisfactorily justify their break from the one, true, Catholic church, so they must resort to telling cleverly crafted, false tales about the only church Jesus ever founded.

As for the anti-christ, and all the other figures in the book of revelation, nowhere is the Catholic Church mentioned there.

Protestants made up their interpretation of it, to serve their own ends.

Jerusalem was positively known to be the Babylon spoken of there, not Rome. You can't have it both ways.

As for the woman riding the beast, holding the abominable cup: that sounds to me like European Protestantism, whoring after false teachers and "charismatic" leaders of every kind, forgoing the true church and the authentic Holy Eucharist which is the real and substantial body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, in favor of ordinary crackers and grape juice.

Sounds pretty abominable to me!

There are some "Christians" who believe the Catholic Church is a satanic lie. Learned Catholics know better.

Those who make such claims are not any more familiar with the teachings of their own Christian denomination any more than they are with Catholicism. Therefore, how could they possibly be doing "a good job"? A "good job" at what, exactly?

The problem here is that you are judging by the group. NO judgement made by-the-group is ever an intellectually honest judgement. When dealing with people, you HAVE to take them one at a time.

just ignore it, the people who attack the catholic church attack sometimes unwittingly jesus christ himself, it is because of jesus we have the one holy apostolic catholic church. without the catholic church christianity would never have survived and no christian today would even have a bible had it not been for the catholic church. the church is attacked because it is not understood properly. lately to me it seems that the catholic church is to christian for most christians, alot of christians cannot meet the holy standards and teachings of the catholic church, our monks and nuns exemplify what a christian life should be, our teachings on abortion, contraception etc. promote gods plan etc. even not allowing our priests to get married is in concordance with the word of god, yet so many see this as to christian.

It's a case of "If the shoe fits, wear it". That's all.

The Bible gives us a clue of the identity of the whore that rides the beast. Here it is:

Rev 17:9
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. KJV

Rome is known as "The City of Seven Hills". Rome is the seat of the Romish church. Thus, the Romish church is the whore.

They were called this due to their origin. They began in what is known today as apostasy. They did not follow Christs way of setting up congregation. Instead of having bodies of elder's and spiritually mature ministerial servants they made a single head of each Church, and heads of those heads which eventually leads to the pope as i'ts main head. Basically one is made higher than the one before it. Christ did not teach that he actually taught that they should consider themselves lowly and that there brothers were equal all to eachother.
Also they use the priesthood as a money making business which they should't do. Christ said you recive the knowledge of god free you should give it free.

They feel Catholics elevate Mary and the saints to God-like status. They think people are praying to Mary to solve their problems. As such, they think the Catholic church masquerades as Christians to lead people off the path to God.
