If you are 14 years old and a scratch golfer off the back tees from Medinah- why are you even asking you silly goose? Don't you have pepole like the club pros telling you to give it a shot? You should already have a sponsor's exemption at this point to avoid the qualifyling entrance fees. Man! Tadd Fujikawa would have nothing on you! Get to the tee box- NOW!!!

You can not just enter the US open.. I know a few members at medinah so thats cool but you have to qualify for the open, there are a few stages you have to go through, I know may scratch golfers who have gone to a qualifier and show 80 so good luck to you. expect to shoot at least 69 at the opening round to advance...

Depends which course at Medinah you have the "scratch" handicap on. If its number 1, maybe, if its number 2, maybe not, if its number 3, yes....but you'll have to qualify. Better ask your pro where to start the process.

The competition for spots in the Open are tough to get. Just being a scratch golfer may not be enough but if you are good enough and can handle the pressure, hey, best of luck!

heh do it... i did it last year as a 14 yo. can you say just made it?
lots of fun playing over the summer. especially when you beat some older ppl

try but you most likely won't make it. hundreds and hundreds of players will be going that will be better than you are.
