Of course it's normal. Not only because he is still a puppy, but because since it's winter, we tend to have longer sleep. There many other animal species that hibernate during the winter like squirrels, raccoons, etc.

I have a pug who is 13 months old and loves to sleep!!! We have to drag her out of bed in the morning!!:) I do walk with her everyday and play fetch to keep her body moving. Pugs absolutely love to sleep, but make sure you keep them active b/c they can become overweight quickly :)

It is normal for any dog 6 months old to sleep - they are still babies. Yes, it is colder out (my dog is 7 and he likes it better inside because it is soooo cold) so your pup could be sleeping more - keep a watch and take him to the vet if his behavior doesn't change.

Some puppies do sleep more, and if she is cold she'll sleep even longer. As long as she isn't exhibiting any other signs of poor health (not eating, drinking etc.) then I wouldn't worry
