Terrorism has existed since one human was larger than another and used their size to intimidate the other into doing its will, than one became smarter and used its wit to do the same, than they started grouping up and clans terrorized other clans, then tribes terrorized other tribes, then rose the great terrorist empires of the Aztecs, the Egyptians, the Sumarians, the Persians, then the Romans. Each esculating in its organization and ferocity. Will America with its wealth and sophisticated weaponry be able to terrorize the muslim extremeists into submission. Were the Roman's able to do that to the Christians. How do we win when they terroize us by emposing death but they are not afraid to die?

The war on terror is much the same as the war on poverty and the war on drugs. It is the same because it cannot be won. It is very different because this President is using the War Powers Act in his war against .

The War Powers Act allows the Executive Branch to usurp powers from the other branches of government. This is the closest Americans have been to living in a dictatorship that they have been since 1776.

First of all, the Romans were not terror experts. They were the best equiped, trained, and organized army of the times, and they protected the cities they conquered and built roads for trade travel.

The GWOT (Global War on Terror) is not going to be over any time in the near future. We are not fighting for our own peace, or even our children's, but most likely for the future of our grandchildren.

The fanatical Islamic terrorists are driven by the belief that there will one day a world Caliphate, and the only thing we can do is to repeatedly disavow them of that notion.

Terror is a tactic - we are not at war with a tactic, we are at war with islamo-facists. To win this war we will have to stoop to they're level and WE must unite. We will not see the end in our life time. As long as half of this country refuses to see this as what it is, it will only continue and eventually come here.

Terror is an idea. As long as people are in existence, there will be terror.
