My Toshiba 50 h 82 has no sound or picture. WHATS WRONG?

Is the unit can turn on? is the unit still on but no picture and sound or the unit switch back to stand by mode. For correct analysis I think you need to put more detail information, or you can ask an expert to check your TV.
