It costs a lot of money even if you are on a budget so don't go splurging on everything. Remember its all about you and your honey.

Well, some specifics about the kind of wedding you want would help. But the most general advice is to always remember that this day is to celebrate with loved ones the start of a new life with your fiance. Never though, go over board and expect this day to become the 1st priority for anyone else.

Have fun, take time during the big day to actually enjoy things. You'll be surprised how fast that day will go.

Don't go overboard. It's much more important that you put your money toward something lasting...like a home. A smaller more intimate wedding with close friends and family will mean more to you in the end. You can still take a great honeymoon trip to some exotic locale...Tahiti, Hawaii, etc. All my best to you and your future husband!!

Don't go into debt for it. Keep it small and simple. Take any money you save ans either invest it in the honeymoon. This may be the only trip you get to go on together. Once the kids come everything changes. Put the money into a great honeymoon. Or use it as a downpayment on a house.

Sit down with your fiancee and decided what is your ideal wedding. You really need to be on the same page about it. They can get very expensive so set budgets and once that is settled then the fun of planning can begin!
