I know they go poop im not dumb, i mean he is new to his enviroment he is 5 years old. i took him for 4 "walks" in the past 6 hours to go either pee or poop and he hasnt done any. when will he go and when should i get worried? he isnt scared in his new place he is actually sleeping right now. if anyone could let me know it would be apreciated. thanks

When I introduced a new dog into my household he was 1. He did the same thing he just wouldnt go. He eventually went the next morning. Because he is older they can go longer without going to the bathroom. Just keep an eye out and maybe a little later this evening try taking him out and then try again once before bed. If he doesnt then he will in the morning. Its normal, they are older dogs.

He will poop when he is ready. Many dogs go once a day (much like people). If he hasn't gone by tommorow evening I would consult a vet.

five to fifteen minutes after eating for puppies. Yours is 5 years old...I would say once a day at least.

this is common thy have to get use to thier enviorment like you said and dont get worried my cat didnt poop until the next day i got her and the vet said it was very common.
