Entropy keeps increasing until eventually all the energy of the universe is distributed uniformly, there is no matter, just heat.

"God will end the world. According to God's Word, the Bible, Planet Earth will never "end" in thesense of being forever done away with. It will, however, be radicallyreshaped by God's creative fire into a planet, or world, much different thanit is presently.

Jesus' disciples asked him in the Olivet discourse to tell them when theend of the world would come. Actually, they asked: when will be the end ofthe age? The question involved the end of human history as it had been knownto that point. That age about which they questioned the Lord is still goingon in our time.

Jesus answered by giving a list of prophetic signs that will precede HisSecond Coming. Christ indicated that the world, as it was then known, andis now known, would end when He returned. Revelation tells us that Jesus'Millennial Kingdom will be the next "earth age."

It will last 1000 years, after which time the Great White Throne judgmentwill take place, where all lost people of all ages will be judged andsentenced to eternity apart from God. Hell is their final place ofresidence, from which there will be no escape.

Planet Earth will then be remade into something more glorious than can beimagined or described by the humanmind, this side of Heaven.Peter, the apostle, through Divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, gives usjust a glimpse of Earth's ultimate destiny:

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which theheavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt withfervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burnedup. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner ofpersons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking forand hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being onfire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a newearth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."(2 Peter 3: 10-13)God's Word promises:

"One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earthabides forever." (Ecclesiastes 1:4)"

Well let's see here. As far as global warming, no. I had Meteorology/Climatology calsses while in college and found out that the Earth will actually do this itself (with or without human interference) IF given all the years that people say it has lived. Sun burning out? Well if it's been around for so long without losing much that it already had then no. Last and the correct choice is that God will end world and will make a New Heaven and a New Earth. his word has been right in everythin so far so why should it be wrong about this?

The Book of Revelation in the New Testament and Daniel in the Old Testament spell it out in detail. God will finally pour out His wrath on all who fight against Him. This earth will undergo many plagues, earthquakes, even asteroids. There will finally be a new earth with peace and no sin or possibility of sin. The new world will last forever. No one knows when this will happen but the Bible says we can know the season, just not the exact day and hour. More and more people see indications that we may be getting nearer.

JUST LIKE THE BIBLE SAYS IT WILL END BUT
That day will be sprung on you suddenly, like a trap! It will come down on everyone living on the face of the earth!" (Luke 1:35) Those days will be exactly like it was at the time of Noah, no one will be expecting anything - everyone will be eating and drinking, and giving and taking in marriage right up until the very day when the flood came and swept them all away." (Matt.24:39)

"There will come upon the world a period of distress unparalleled since nations first came into existence." (Dan 12:1) "No one will be expecting anything ... right up until the very day!" (Matt.24:39) "Just when they are saying, "peace and security" sudden destruction will come upon them, in the manner of the labor pains of a pregnant woman, and there will be no escape." (1 Thes.5:3) This tribulation will be even more cataclysmic than the flood of Noah. Most importantly, there is no arrival of the antichrist to prepare the world for it's sudden impact. It will be the a swift visitation of judgment from God, which will come like a thief.

Dear lorenzo,

The LORD tells us in Luke 17:26-30 and 2 Peter 3 that the world shall be completely destroyed by fire. Only those who have been redeemed by the Son of God will escape the judgment.

2 Peter 3:9-10
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

I think that a huge asteroid (about half a mile long by half a mile wide) will smack into the earth, causing shock waves, earthquakes, and will send the earth flying out of its orbit. The few people who survive the impact will freeze to death when they can't get any heat from the sun.

According to Scriptures Revelations,
The world as we know it will end when Jesus returns those who have believed in him will rise up to meet him in the air. Those who died believing in him will rise first and those who chose not to believe in him when given the opportunity will be destroyed by the brightness of his coming and the earth will become void and dead as it was in the beginning. If you would like to know more about this look for the up coming seminar on Revelations that will be coming in April at a Church in North Minneapolis.
