and not in their own yards. i think it is the height of impropriety to let someone step in YOUR doggies POOP!! especially in your own yard. what do you think? don't get me wrong,i love animals.

if your dog has to poop,you outta have a scoop. it is an unwritten law in some places that you have to clean up your animals waste from a public place or you can get fined.

I do not own a dog but understand what some members are talking about having the owner take responsibility. We have a large unfenced back yard and my sons friends uncle (young adult) lets his boxer mix dog run all over our yard and crap where it pleases. But one day we were eatting dinner (few months ago) and the dog came barreling up our deck and came short to jumping through the sliding screen door and about gave me a heart attack! Ever since that day I chewed that guy out about controling his dog and keep it off my deck he lets the dog crap wherever and the last poop I saw was in a main walkway, partially under one of my flowering bushes (ugh)...I think people do it too just to be un-neighborly and just plain laziness.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves...once someone was walking their german shepard past our house and it started to take a dump as I was pulling into my driveway and I guess she thought if she just kept on walking it wouldn't poop, but the poor dog of course couldn't stop now so there was a huge trail of giant dog poop along my front yard. She ran away with her dog before I could even get out of my car-how rude!! She wasn't a neighbor so I couldn't find out where she lived or I would have returned her gift.

If you mean a NIEGHBOR that always lets their dog poop in your yard & doesn't scoop, I would say something to them - or collect the poop in a bag & leave it on the front doorstep! Check about leash laws & let them know they need a fence or something to keep their dog in THEIR yard.
If you mean random people walking their dogs that happen to go by the sidewalk in front of your house, they should also have baggies to scoop - tell them. But as far as that goes, no one can MAKE their dogs go at home before they walk, sorry!
What is bad is many parks are now not allowing dogs because so many irresponsible pet owners have not picked up & ruined it for the rest of us.

I love animals too but I understand completely what you mean. We go camping a lot in the spring and summer and people walk their dogs and let them poop anywhere they want and not stop to clean it up.It is so disrespectful. People like that should be charged a fine for littering.lol

why do you let yourself poop in other peoples toilets? honestly no one need to smell ur crap all over their bathroom, its rude and disgusting.... and why do other people let you do it?
you cant exactly controll where your dog poops... you obviously dont own one or you would know this simple fact. your yard just looks like a gigantic toilet to a dog. so you stepped in some dog crap... get over it

I agree. The problem is dogs go where they want to so going on the owners yard isn't that easy for them. But dog owners (like me) should still pick it up!

i love animals too, but not their poo. it is not the animals fault it is the fault of the owner. get video if the offenders and 1st send them a copy then send a copy to the proper authorities.
my grandson slid in a huge nasty pile of poo poo last summer. i thought i was going to have a stroke. the poor baby was covered in the neighbors dogs mess.
absolutely DISCUSTING. the only thing i can say about my neighbor is that he is a bad pet owner and doesn't give one damn about his dog or his neighbors.

so they don't have to clean it up. i do it to! lol but only when im walking my dog. the polite thing to do is carry a bag and a pooper scooper!

Better your shoe than mine dogs don't like takin a crap too close to where they live and better your yard than mine he he he.
