understanding of the bible changes. All the things you thought were inconsistencies or contradictions arent that anymore?
Why? Because you have quit denying Jesus Christ the Son of the living God. And everything made sense.
Did you have this experience after being saved?

Children are like the Kingdom of God in that they love to come to Jesus. They aren't rejecting/ rebelling against Jesus Christ.
When rebellion happens, so does spiritual blindness. Then the bible is hard to understand.

If someone doesn't regard a pearl for what its worth and trample on it, I don't care. If one person sees the pearl for what its worth and cherishes it, then it is worth it. There are a lot of people out there who aren't dogs or swine.

Yes the plagues were against the Egyptian leaders and their Gods. The Frog God for instance. These are wannabe gods. But the LORD God proved that He was toupher than the wannabe Egyptian Gods. OK another example was Moses Dragon ate the Egyption sorcerers serpents. This would have to do with vision. Vision are of God or of worldly spirits. Also, the 1st born death angle. The Egyptians killed the 1st born male at the time Moses was born. That is why his Jewish mother put him in the Nile River in a basket for the Egyptian daughter to find.

Matthew & Acts? You have to fit the two verses together. The money was used for the field. It was prophesied 30 pieces of silver elsewhere. And he did hang himself and his bowls burst open either with bloat or the rope broke & he was bloated. This may look like an inconsistency at first, but when you get a Strongs Exhaustive to go with the King James, then you can compare all verses, with the anointed given to you when you are born of God, the spirit of truth who leads into all truth.

Absolutely.Yours is a great testimony I don't think people realize the truth about this. Those who love the truth seek it. Those that seek the truth receive a gift and that gift is faith and through this faith comes revelation. It is the reeason the Bible says many are called and few are chosen. Who are chosen? Those that love the truth.

I think the answer goes both ways. For some, the inconsistencies they saw before vanish, but for any critically thinking person, there are still passages in the Bible that can confuse.
Although the Bible IS written so that the simple can understand, there are nevertheless concepts that even Jesus' disciples did not understand, and would not for a long time. Such as leaving behind everything to follow Christ, etc.
The basic truths are simple, but there are deeper layers that take time, growth, and experience living a Christian life to understand.

Just to go along with this for a second: Why did God make the Bible so hard to understand? And why did he in his infinite love endorse slavery and killing people for working on Sunday whilst banning the eating of shrimp and touching pigs? If he amde it difficult to understand in order for only some people would, doesn't that condemn the rest to Hell? Why would a loving God do that, isn't a failure to understand His fault, because those people have read it, have tried but the material has failed.
See, don't have to look in the Bible to find inconsistencies.

Tell you what, I'll post some inconsistencies, and you tell me how your "experience" cleared them up.
1) Exodus 12:12 - how does God "execute judgment" against the Egyptian Gods if they don't exist?
2) Matthew 27:5 and Acts 1:18 cannot be reconciled.
Need I proceed to the verses that say one is saved only by works, etc., etc.?
Is your attempt at synthesis of contradictory verses meant to be comedic?

yes, after studying the Bible you can see that scripture supports scripture. Posing this kind of question though might be casting pearl before the swine.

Wrong. In Psalm 119:130 we read that the Bible, called the Word of God, is understandable even to the "simple." So anyone who reads it will understand it.
Therefore, yes it is filled with inconsistencies, contradictions and outright impossibilities. You have either chosen to lie, skip over them, or completely ignore them. Typical picking and choosing.

there is a logical fallacy in your argument because you ask a person to believe the conclusion first and then look at the evidence.

If you want your question to be answered only by christians, say so.
If not, don't claim your religion is the objective truth.
