A great way to find different reception venues, without having to visit them each one-by-one, is the Reel Wedding Review. It's an hour-and-a-half movie at the Studio Movie Grill in Plano. They have several reception sites, as well as other wedding professionals like photographers, djs, videographers, etc. Their website is http://www.reelweddingreview.com - the next show is Thursday, January 25.

Depending on the size of your guest list and if you want it IN Dallas or just the Dallas area, you might check out the Hanging Gardens in Duncanville, Ft Worth Botanical Gardens, Rose Chapel, or the Chapel in the Woods. I believe all of those have websites you can check out.

Obviously, the cost of your wedding and reception is going to be impacted by the # of guests you intend to invite. Since I don't know this info, I suggest you visit theknot.com and look in "local resources" for Dallas. You will find a comprehensive list of venues and links to their websites.
Good Luck!

I was in a wedding for a friend and they had their reception at Grand Traditions. They were going to have both the wedding and reception there, but she wanted to get married in a church. It is a great facility. Very pretty. Not too expensive. http://www.grandtraditions.net
