My g/f of 6 years used to HATE when I would say...oh look they came out with the XBR-2700-hi-tech-extra zippy - wide left 2 waggle model of camera....or....TV or whatever. Now that we have more money and I come home with all this Hi-Tech stuff she LOVES IT!

Now she will be like..so when are they coming out with the newer/better version...ect.


I love it when a female talks technical specs! Dont you???

No matter WHAT it is, if you have the Latest & Greatest then you are a Rich Trendsetter.

The fact that it's electronic is meaningless- she'd probably react the same way over expensive art, or jewelry.

If you are patient with them and show him how things work and they get the handle on it, then they are delighted to master something new.
But it can be the same with any other skill, they can learn, even plumbing. I've shown a few women how to fix their toilets and even change a washer on a faucet, and they were over the moon. It give them a great feeling of accomplishment.

I've always liked techie type stuff...that's why I got a computer science degree...go techie chicks!
