So this guy I've been dating for like 3 months talks about things that involve is in the future. And I mean in a nonchalant way, like he'll say, "Over the summer, I'm going to do xyz, want to come?" or "In May, I'm thinking of having a party, you should come!" I know he's not really trying to hint at anything here but by him saying this, can it also show that he wants to be together for a long time? What do you guys think? Or am I reading too much into this?

You are reading too much into this. Since you've been dating him for 3 months I assume he thinks of you as his girlfriend with whom he has a relationship. He probably has no reason to break up with you so he's just planning for the near future - a very normal thing to do.

It is my belief he views you as a long term part of his life. And his thinking isn't an "I" mode but a "we" mode. he is trying to include you in things that are important to him. it is hard to wonder what to read into this, but what you could try is the next time he says "over the summer I'm going xyz, wanna come" then ask....what should I bring? or where is that at? something like that. In other words ask open ended questions to try and get a better idea.

Ask him.Talk to him.
So many people are afraid to TALK to each other for fear it will somehow scare off thier partner.
If you have a mutual vested interest in each other,no topic should be off limits.
Honest, open communication is THE key to a sucsessfull relationship.
You should be asking HIM these questions, not us,as we have no clue whats in his head.
When he says something that you don't quite get,ask him in a TACTFUL manner what he means.Like this:
"Sometimes when you say that,I take it like your including me in your long range plans and i'm flattered,is that what your saying?"
And if its not ,say something funny like
"oh my gosh,I need to call everyone and call off the wedding plans !" you'll both have a good laugh and it will solidify exactly where you stand with him.
This is real easy stuff, not rocket science.
I really wish people would stop talking in riddles
It would make life so much easier!

Your REALLY reading too much into it! After all its ONLY been 3 months you have been seeing this guy. I could see if you guys have been together for a year or more then yeah it would mean something.

It shows that he wants you to be involved in his life. Does this mean that he is looking to pop the question, NO. He just does not want you to think that he is doing his thing without considering you. Take it slow and do not jump to any conclusions. If you have any questions, you could just bring it up when the opportunity presents itself.

Your reading to much into it. He's just thinking out loud and including you because your there. Not to say that he doesn't want to be with you for a long time but I would look for a greater sign than just this.

My bet is that he sincerely wants to see you in his life in spring and summer. Let it grow, take statements at face value with most guys and see what happens. That is part of the fun.
