That dog is adorable! No clue as to the breed, looks much like our dog which we just refer to as a Hienz 57. As for size, by looking at her paws it would be my guess she will be a medium-to large sized dog, and just as cute when she grows up. Thanks for saving another one of the many unwanted animals!

In my experience, the dog breeds which are the least likely to develop human aggression issues are the Pug, Beagle, English Bulldog, and Boston Terrier. I haven't really seen an example of any of those breeds that I would say had a serious aggression issue, though I have met more than a few nervous Beagles. Well-bred Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, and Greyhounds would be right up there as well. On the other hand are the breeds which are most likely to be aggressive. I have never had a pleasant experience with a Yorkie. In fact, of the 50 or so Yorkies that I have encountered, I would say all 50 had some sort of aggression issue. Chow Chows, Akitas, and Chihuahuas are right up there as well. But, I would say that the most aggressive dog breeds are the various breeds of Terrier from Scotland, the Scottish Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, and Skye Terrier. Scotties and Westies in particular are very bitey dogs.

It looks like an Australian Shepard mix. Look at the website puppiesforsale.com under australian shepard (there will be a box on the top left side to fill in) look through some of the photos and you will see a similarity; however, they come in many different shades, but the red, red noses, with blueish eyes are common. most of these types of dogs have their tails clipped so that won't be a good comparison. They are a medium size dog, have a thicker medium length hair coat, thick ears, a boxy head with a little longer snout, and a spunky and loveable personality. This is a cattle dog so it might have tendencies to bight at your ankles. Overall they are great dogs.

Congrats on your new puppy. I see some definite terrier in her- maybe Jack Russell and she has the coloring that could be part beagle. I am guessing she will be around 35 pounds. If she is a jack russell/beagle mix, you will get the most in personality for sure

It's hard to tell because of her young age, but I definately see Pit/Strat in her face and jaw. It'll take a lil longer to tell for sure. Her ears might stand up in the next few months, and she's sure to go through a few more changes. :)

Nearly impossible to guess until she is more like 1 year old & has her adult characteristics set (like coat type & length, size, build, ear set, etc)...but for fun I will venture a guess: Australian Shepherd mix.

OMG is she cute!!!
you are lucky to have her!
she does bear a strong resemblance to a border collie, but to me, she just looks 100% loveable regardless of what breed she is!
