The grip is part of the frame, which is what is considered the firearm. There are places that might be able to fix it, but the best thing to do is to send it back to Glock to have them deal with it. Most likely it will need to be replaced, which could be an issue with the serial number. Glock might be able to transfer the serial number, but I doubt that anyone else could.

There is a place which customizes the grips for Glocks, which makes it much nicer to shoot in my opinion, but I doubt that they would want to touch a damaged one due to the legal aspects should it fail.

The only way a local place could replace it is with a new receiver, which means you would have to do all the paperwork, just like buying another firearm.

You call it a handel but I am thinking you are talking about the frame?

The frame is the part that is controlled by the gov't as it is the firearm as defined by the BATFE.

I would contact Glock and see if you can send it back for repair.

So much for the Glock torture test. I have seen a jpeg of an HK USP .45 that had a broken grip due to mystery reloads (extrememly hot) being used. That story reinforced the rule about buying reloads at gun shows.

Any time something adversely happens to any weapon take it to a gunsmith to be checked.
Other wise you very well may get hurt or hurt others.
Damage is not always visible to the human eye.
It takes just one crack in the right place to make the situation dangerous.
Gunsmiths have the knowledge and tools and chemicals to check for damage that can not be seen.
It may well shoot now, that don’t mean it’s safe.
But 100 shoots down the road it very well could blow your hand off.
Just what is your hand, eyes or life worth?
The gunsmith is cheap insurance in my book,
