The mountains right after a snow. Waterfalls, crisp air, warm breeze, sun rises, sun sets, stars, wild flowers. Warm sunray on my face, the sound of crickets at night, fresh cut grass (which i guess is man-made)...and on and on and on.

I love best about this Planet anything and everything that has remained uncontaminated and unfouled, and unravaged by the human species. And I love the fact that Mother Nature has begun to fight back against the "cancer" that has been ravaging her body for the last couple of centuries in particular. Man can do his worst, but her Immune System is strong, and while her patience with us has been long, it is not inexhaustible. I think it is reaching the point of exhaustion right now. I am sorry, of course, that those of us who have loved and respected her, and tried our best to live by her rules, will suffer her ultimate wrath along with the majority who have abused her, and taken her magnanimity for granted. I wish we could be kept separate from her ultimate fury. But, even in Human Medicine when we take a course of antibiotic to kill an invading enemy, we cannot separate out the good bacteria from the "evil-doers". For the body to be cured and healed, all must go.
But I am philosophical about that. I belong to a living species that has abused its "Garden of Eden". In fact I suspect this is the true meaning of that part of the Bible about Adam and Eve getting tossed out for "eating of the tree of knowledge" Our galloping knowledge of how to do horrendous things with our learned technologies, has caused us to do those things, because the knowledge has galloped ahead of the acquisiton of wisdom. We have come to know what we were not yet ready to know, and that knowledge is turning against us. The planet will survive US, but I suspect we will not survive our own self destructive behaviours.

The Sky. Seriosuly the colours are so awesome. I feel really lucky that we can differentiate the different colours as many animals can't. But from the greys to the pinks oranges and purples and that's not even counting the shades of blue which seem endless. And when it's gone? Stars! Sky certainly rocks.

The ocean, flowers, forests, mountains, lakes, rivers, clouds, etc. Most of the beauty in this Earth has nothing to do with human beings.

The Creator first, then all of the awesome diversity of it. The mountains covered with trees, snow in the winter, the desert, wildlife, all of the amazing things man could never make.
