I suggest investing in a flat iron with cermaic plates and that can heat up to 440 degrees. CHI is very good but will cost u about a $100 bucks, I would choose carfully if you buy one on ebay, some of them are not the real CHI. You can also go to sallys and buy a Jiberre for about $30-$40 that heats at hight temps, they also carry a generic CHI which is GREAT as good as CHI Dont cost as much. Also always for future use a heat defense spray before any blow drying or ironing.. these can be bought almost anywhere walmart...dollar stores...sallys... salon.... If you dont have time before tomm to buy these things after washing your hair do not put gel its can make curlier. Blow dry with your round brush then section off your hair turn that flat iron all the way up, flat iron in small sections. Thats about all you can do with what you got... then i suggest dumping that conair and going for a better iron. Also after flat iron add some biosilk silk theraphy to your hair... gives your hair a great finsihing touch and helps it stay straight, they also make a generic silk thearphy at sallys for half the cost, i personally use it.

k, well i had that exact hair straightner..it sucks...badly.. anyway the best thing to do is prestraighten it. idk if that helps for ur kind of hair but it might.... tonight straighten it as much as u can. dont put gel in it yet. cause if u lay on it wrong it will stay that way. (pillow might come wit u lol) if u have a comb or a pick (do u have thick or thing hair??) use it ...cause a normal brush will pull ur hair causing it to frizz again!...if the gel says volume on it..that's ur problem...the best thing to have is garnier fruitis...i think thats how u spell it. but this is short notice...w/e u do.......dont comb it with a big fricken brush that will pull ur hair.

i hope this helps!

Hi ya
The best thing to use for frizzy hair is frizz ease products, these really work and are available in chemists or super markets. There is hair relaxant to straightening balm to shampoo all geared towards frizzy hair. Well worth it. Use these with your straightening iron and see the difference.
Hope this helps
