On Friday, I fell asleep, and had a dream. In the dream I fell, and it was as if I fell in real life too. Its hard to explain. Has anyone else experienced this?

YES ! I have had that same exact dream.....strange !
It was so real, made me feel the same way I would feel if I really did fall in real life....
what a dream !
I thought I was the only one that had this dream, how strange to hear of someone else dreaming it....I have no idea what it means or if it does in fact mean something. I just know it was life like.

What you are experiencing might be something called Lucid Deaming (I might have spelled that wrong). What it means is that when you are dreaming, your mind becomes in a state where you are aware that you are sleeping and that you are in a dream state. It is a pretty big deal to achieve a state of lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming relates a little to afterlife, so if you belive in afterlife, thats what afterlife should be like. There is nothing wrong with you.

this is a very common phenomenon.Its called a "sleep start" it is actually the transition of light sleep into REM sleep which is deep dream sleep. however,,,if you experience this alot. as I did as a child.-go to a Neurologist and get a "sleep study" done.it could be a problem if it persists.

Yes I have, lots of people do. We talked about it in my english class. I may edit this later with more information about it. All I know is that it is a chemical reaction.

Yes, it's called lucid dreaming, which is when your dreaming mirrors reality...
It usually happens when people are on drugs like anti-depressants. Freaky stuff.
Sometimes I couldn't distinguish between my "dreams" and reality...

that has happen to me once. when i woke up, i was in class thinking, "didn't i just do this yesterday?"
