My friend is 16 years old and is starting to date this guy that is 21. Personally i think he is too old for her but she says hes really great and would never make her do anything she didnt want to do. Should i just leave her alone and let them date or is he really after only one thing??

If my daughter were dating a 21 year old, there would soon be one less 21 year old guy in the world. A guy of 21 is going to want things that a girl of 16 might not be willing to do. But he will pressure her until she gives in. Try as hard as you can to get her away from this guy,

i have a friend who is 16 and dating a 21 year old too.apparently they are in good hands right now but maybe you should let that guy know straight up that if he ever messes up your friend or even hurts her, things will turn into hell. I did that to the 21 year old guy and he knows and understand and would never hurt her. So maybe you should just at least give him a straight up cautious sign before you let her alone.besides age doesn't really matter.its just a number, its just the chemistry between them should matter the most and if she is willing to take risks in a relationship.

He might be playing the role as some really nice guy who really wants to be with her until he finally earns her trust enough to get her into bed with him. OR... he really cares about her and isn't trying to get into her pants. Its hard to tell but either is possible. That age difference isn't really that much of a big deal... my cousin is 16 and her boyfriend is 22 and they are really happy together. Getting into her pants wasn't his goal when they started dating. And now they're super in love and couldn't be happier! I can see them getting married. I guess it all depends on the guy. Give it some time and see how he acts with her. If you see any red flags, let her know. But don't pressure her about it or else she won't listen to anything you say.

Well if it's just friends it's alright but anything else he could go to jail for making out with a minor. AND if he's just after one thing that is good enough to go to jail for a while and if your friend likes him he won't see him for a while then when he gets out of prison they can do anything they want she will be old enough. SO tell her he's a little bit too old.

Hmm... do you think its her wit and charm that have captivated this 21 year old guy? I think not.
This guy needs some help with his issues and your friend is going to take a fall with this guy. Even if he really is into her, it sounds like he has issues or he wouldn't be cruising the playgrounds for dates.
Just support her and tell her that you are worried about her, she will hate you if you nag.
LIfe is a great teacher, but it kills all its students.

He is probably only after one thing! at those ages, he should be more interested in the bar scene and she should be looking at people her own age but she wants to keep him as just a friend for a few years there might be something for them when she is a bit older and a bit more mature!

Keep on trying to advise her, she is treading in dangerous waters. Any normal guy, would avoid dating a 16 year old girl. The dangers are huge. Any sexual act between them is illegal, and he could end up in jail. Even if she is consenting. She is still considered a minor.

Ahh let it go if you mess with it she maybe upset with you and shes going to hang out with him anyway she'll have to learn the Hard way or He may be on the up and really care about her

It's fine, they meet our maturity level, most guys in high school need to grow up. A lot of girls in my school date guys that age, including me.
