Yes... you have to be still and know that He is your God.
Call on Him repeatedly while you sit quietly....it is there you will hear Him speak in volumes that you never could imagine. It isn't a language of any man you will hear, it will be the voice of God. And He will not speak of any hatreds, fears, or judgements. He will speak only what is good for everyone. No calls to exact vengence in His name, no demands that would hurt a soul, nothing spiteful in the least will you hear. You will hear the utmost love that has ever crossed your soul; or ever will, and with that... all fears of life you have known will disapear with faith. Faith in what you hear from God.

I hear God speak to me all the time. For me it is not a audible voice, it is not my own emotions, it is a thought God plants in my heart or He shows me something. I feel the Holy Spirit as well, in church, or even just spending time with Him, I have never seen Him though, but I have heard of people seeing Him through prophetic visions.

Yes I hear GOD every morning when I meat with Him in His WORD!
(1Samuel 3:21) And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: = = for the LORD revealed himself = = to Samuel = = in Shiloh = = by the word of the LORD.
You cannot Know GOD unless You Know His WORD!
For GOD says this about His Word....!
(Isaiah 55:6-to-11) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
(Isa 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
(Isa 55:8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
(Isa 55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
(Isa 55:10) For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
(Isa 55:11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Thanks, RR

A song says that on earth "God has no hands but ours; God has no feet but ours; ours are the eyes through which he see the world."
Men must be agents for God.

I just shortly learned what it means, when people say that God talked to them. I guess everyone has to find it out for themselves. For me, it means, that when i sit in prayer and when i talk to God, i just have some thoughts, i haven't had before, some wishes, some ideas, i just know that God talked to me in that moment, it's hard to explain, you need to live it!

I don't audibly hear God. People that say that are usually associated with killing their children "God told me to do it", etc.
I read the Bible. That is how I hear from God.

Yes, when I quiet myself and listen.
Most people choose not to listen or they have ignored Him for so long, they don't think He speaks to them anymore.
He does...
To hear Him better, draw nearer to His heart and His will. You can do this by reading the Bible daily, though prayer, praise (www.klove.com) and worship.
One only needs to draw nearer to Him to hear Him speak or softly whisper into your heart.

God is a part of you, so therefore you are hearing yourself. The key is not to take yourself too seriously.
