Based on average - you have a B- which works out to a 2.70 GPA and your friend has an A which works out to a 4.00

Good Luck!!!

A=4 usually 90-100%
B=3 80-90%
C=2 70-80%
D=1 60-70%

80% sounds like a B average, so closer to 3.0

An A is 4, B is 3, C is 2, and D is 1. Look at the letter grades, convert them to those numbers, and then average out.

Go by letter grades per subject you take.

for every A you have, give yourself 4 pts. For every B, give 3. For every C give 2 and for every D give 1.

Average all those out. if your's is a straight 80%, that's a 3.0 gpa.

and it gives you a conversion table. YOu grade would be like a 3.3 or so. Hope this helps.
